Thanks so much for taking a look at Cilo's carrd. She might not be my only character, but she is by far my favorite and the one closest to my heart. I am currently looking for a roleplay-based FC or community for her, and possibly a dedicated writing partner as well. I’m on the Crystal Data Center, with Cilo on both Balmung and Mateus. Background

Cilo hails from a quiet village tucked deep in the Shroud, a place where peach trees bloom and hard work shapes every hand. Once a wide-eyed girl chasing dreams too big for her village, she has grown into a capable woman who still carries that same fire in her chest. As the eldest of several siblings, nurturing comes naturally to her. She coddles, protects, and holds people close... even when they do not ask for it. Though her travels have worn her down and the world has tested her, Cilo remains compassionate, grounded, and loyal to the path she chose for herself.She trained with a small company in the Mist, but after its quiet disbanding, she’s found herself on her own again. Not lost, but searching. She is a fighter with a stubborn heart and a clever tongue, always chasing the next job or cause worth standing for. Her dreams are closer now than ever before, and she refuses to let them slip through her fingers.She is not flawless. She is earnest, occasionally reckless, and far too selfless for her own good. From: Just outside of Gridania, a little village near Greentear.
Skin color: Raw honey/deeply bronzed by the sun.
Eye color: A very pale rose, nearly colorless in the right lighting.
Hair color: A tawny brown, odd muted streaks that nearly match her eyes run through it.
Marital: Single and intent on following village tradition of a marriage lottery. Monogamous.Personality:
Cilo is steady, stubborn, and full of heart. She’s the kind of adventurer who jumps in without hesitation. Not for glory, but because someone has to. She's the eldest child in her family, so caring for people is simply just in her nature. Always checking in, always taking on more than she should. Rarely lets herself rest when someone else needs help. She’s modest about her strengths, but proud of her progress. And she’s more reliable than most mercenaries ever dream to be. Whether watching your back or holding the line up front, Cilo shows up and follows through. She’s naturally nurturing, protective to a fault, and quick to laugh in the face of exhaustion. She also loves bread a little too much. It is, without question, one of her favorite things on the shard.

A few little tidbits about Cilo:
• She gets severe motion sickness on boats, carriages, and most forms of travel, but endures it without complaint
• Always carries bread on her, usually meant to share
• She would give her life for a child without hesitation
• Tries to fix things with wit and a smile, even when she’s quietly falling apart
• Strong arms, softer touch. Her hugs linger longer than the hurt
• She wants a love like her parents had and believes she can build it herself
• Still believes the world can be better, even when it shows her otherwise
• Haggles like a merchant’s daughter, protects like a mother or older sister
• She’s not fearless, but she is extraordinarily brave
• She rarely cries. She’d rather solve the hurt than sit in it
• First to offer comfort, last to ask for it
• Always puts herself between others and harm, no matter the cost
• She doesn’t know what to do when someone genuinely cares for her
• Loves to sing! ...not perfectly, but joyfully. Sometimes goes off-key on purpose
• Her scars are few, but each has a name she remembers

Hello there! I've been roleplaying for nearly two decades and in FFXIV since Heavensward, going from other games to tabletop campaigns. I've a love for creative writing, and am excited to see where the story can take us!I prefer RP in-game, but I may be willing to write via Discord if a scene is in a place not easily represented in-game, involves a significant number of NPCs, is a GM'd plotline event, etc.. And while this character is off the table for some things, feel free to reach out to me for other characters and ideas!

In order to help long term narratives flourish, I like to take the extra time and lay out some foundation for a first time role-play. Not necessary but I adore having the chance to set everything up smoothly. A little prep goes a long way!I like to write long term story lines that involve my character growing and gaining connections with other characters. Regardless of the relationship she gains, Cilo is a fictional character and not a representation of myself.Cilo is my favorite character and as such I would not be interested in any narratives that involve her being killed or permanently disfigured. I enjoy writing many different genres with her. Mystery, Travel, Adventure, and Romance just to name a few.

She’s a capable blade with a protective streak. If someone’s offering work that helps people more than it harms them, she’s interested.• From the village of Greentear, you say? Cilo’s roots are in a quiet corner of the Shroud. If your character is from anywhere nearby, or has even passed through, you might already know her — or her bread.• Stomach stronger than her sea legs. If you’re traveling by boat or carriage and see someone a little too still and pale, it might be Cilo doing her best not to vomit. Strike up a conversation before the ride ends.• That voice sounds familiar. She sings to herself when she thinks no one’s listening — usually a soft hum or old Shroud folk song. Maybe you recognize it. Maybe it stops you in your tracks.• Kindness like hers isn’t free. She always offers comfort first, and rarely takes it herself. If your character notices her stretching too thin or falling apart behind a smile, what do they do?• A school in her name. She’s been saving up nearly every coin for a school back home. Whether your character is a fellow dreamer, has connections, or just asks the right question, she might open up about it.• The village lottery. Cilo still plans to honor her home’s marriage tradition — a lottery that pairs villagers based on fate. If someone flirts, proposes, or questions this old custom, there’s plenty of room for intrigue or tension.• She doesn’t flirt, but she notices. Romance isn’t her goal, but it doesn’t mean she's blind. A respectful, slow-burn connection might catch her off guard — and yours too.
